2. (sc, inc) x 3 (9)

The first & second stitch of one point gets sewed to the seventh & eighth stitch on another point. Repeat this 4 times to join 5 of the points together. You will end up with 4 stitches on each side of each point.
Body: 1. magic ring 6 sc (6) 2. (sc, inc) x 3 (9) 3. (inc, 2 sc) x 3 (12) 4. sc around (12) 5. sc 2, join to the third stitch in the point that isn't attached (see picture) & sc 4. Sc 4 on each of the next 4 points, then sc 2 on the last point. You should have 24 sc in total (24) 6. (sc, dec, sc) x 6 (18) 7. (sc, dec) x 6 (12) 8. dec x 6 (6) Fasten off, leaving a tail. Weave the tail through the front loops of the remaining stitches & pull to close the ring. Use the tail from the fifth point to sew two stitches together on the fifth & sixth point. Use the tail from the magic ring to sew the sixth point to the first point. Attach a new piece of yarn to the other side of the star & repeat rounds 5-8 of the body. Stuff the points & body as you go. Sewing: Sew two of the remaining points to each side of the star. The points should sit under/above where two of the points are joined.
